Sumil Vikamsey (Sumil) is the Chairman of Hitachi Cash Management Services.
Sumil also serves as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer – Cash Business at Hitachi Payment Services. A leader with close to 25 years of rich experience, Sumil has an illustrious track record. He joined Hitachi Payment Services in early 2010 and since then has held leadership positions across Business Finance, WLA Programme, Business Strategy, Sourcing & Analytics and most recently has been the Chief Executive Officer – Cash Business. Under his leadership, the company has further strengthened its position in the payments industry, having successfully implemented a number of strategic initiatives.
A visionary leader with a unique combination of customer focus and people-centricity, Sumil’s deep understanding of the payments domain and varied experience brings agility and versatility while inspiring teams to achieve positive change and growth.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Sumil has held a range of corporate leadership roles at reputed organizations such as SAP India, J.P.Morgan and Euronet.
Anuj Khosla (Anuj) is Director at Hitachi Cash Management Services.
Anuj also serves as Chief Executive Officer – Digital Business at Hitachi Payment Services. Anuj brings over 22 years of experience across financial services including Merchant Acquiring & Cards Business, Retail & Institutional Banking, Institutional Sales & Merchant Partnerships, New Product & Market Development, Retail Banking Strategy, Emerging Payments & Mobile Payments. At Hitachi Payment Services, Anuj is responsible for building the Digital Business, driving digital strategy and P&L growth.
Before joining Hitachi Payment Services, he was Chief Operating Officer (Shareholder Nominee) at SBI Payments, a joint venture between SBI and Hitachi Payment Services. At SBI Payments, he played a pivotal role in defining and building the Business Development, Technology, Risk, Product Strategy, Portfolio & Partnerships. Prior to SBI Payments, he was Country Head – India for UnionPay International and was responsible for setting up and growing UnionPay’s business in India. He has also held senior level positions at Visa, India & Singapore where he was Regional Director – Acceptance, India and South Asia and was a core member of Visa’s South Asia leadership team and at Axis Bank Ltd., where he was Vice President & Country Head – Merchant Services. At Axis Bank he set up the merchant acceptance business for the Bank and in a span of less than 4.5 years built India’s largest acquiring franchise. A well-known industry veteran in the cards fraternity, Anuj has worked & delivered across diverse markets in Asia Pacific, Middle East & North Africa and managed cross-cultural teams.
Yusuf Pachmariwala (Yusuf) is the Managing Director & CEO at Hitachi Cash Management Services. Yusuf was previously Director, Operations – Cash Business at Hitachi Payment Services where he was responsible for the Cash Business Service Delivery Operations (SDO) encompassing – Helpdesk Operations, Cash Management Operations, Channel Management Services, Engineering TSG & Field Services, TRC Services, ATM & BNA Recon & Fraud, E-Surveillance, BAU Vendor Management and Professional Services. At Hitachi Payment Services, he played a crucial role in scaling cash business operations and was instrumental in achieving operational excellence through consistent, swift and effective execution across all levels. He is a people-focused leader with a strong track record in managing large teams, and brings a result-oriented approach.
Yusuf has over 25 years of work experience in Banking, Finance and Insurance and prior to joining Hitachi Payment Services, was associated with Tata AIA Life Insurance Ltd. as Chief Operations Officer. He has also worked with organizations like HCL Perot Systems, HDFC Bank and Stock Holding Corporation of India. Yusuf is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India and Associate Member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (AICWA). He is also an alumnus of INSEAD, having completed the INSEAD Leadership Program for Senior Executives in France.
Rustom Irani (Rustom) is Director at Hitachi Cash Management Services.
Rustom is also Advisor at Hitachi Payment Services. Prior to his current role, Rustom was Managing Director of Hitachi Payment Services. Under his leadership, the company further strengthened its position in both Cash and Digital payment segments. Prior to his role as Managing Director, he has held various senior level positions including Chief Operations Officer and Director of Operations, Technology, Field Engineering & Channel Management groups. He has been instrumental in setting up the technology infrastructure, operations and process management teams for the company.
Before joining Hitachi Payment Services, Rustom worked with Mindtree Ltd as a Senior Vice President in the IMTS (Infrastructure Management and Technical Services) business between May 2010 and February 2011. Prior to that he co-founded 7Strata (Sevenstrata) IT Services Pvt. Ltd. which specialized in providing Remote Infrastructure Management Services. His previous assignment before co-founding 7Strata was with Yahoo India Web Services Private Ltd between August 2006 to July 2007. Prior to his assignment with Yahoo, Rustom was the Chief Technology Officer for Sify Limited, one of India’s largest ISP companies where he worked between December 1999 and July 2006. Rustom also worked briefly with GECIS at Hyderabad as their VP and CIO, after spending 12 years with Citibank India’s Technology division, and a short stint at Tata Consultancy Services.
